Easygreen utilizes various degradable materials in their packaging solutions. Among these are cornstarch, which is a natural, renewable resource; bassage (the fibrous residue from sugarcane processing); kraft paper, a strong and recyclable paper type; PET and REPT, a plastic that can be recycled. The combination of these materials allows Easygreen to offer packaging that is both environmentally friendly and functional.
There are several key indicators to consider:
1.Look for Recycling Labels: Check the packaging for labels that indicate recyclability, such as the word “recyclable” or recycling symbols.
2.Consider Material Type. Materials like paper, cardboard, and some plastics (typically labeled with recycling numbers 1 and 2) are commonly recycled. However, plastics with recycling numbers 3 to 7 may not be recyclable in all recycling programs.
3.Packaging Design. Packaging designed for easy recycling often has a simple structure with minimal glued-on parts or coatings. Avoid packages with multiple layers or complex coatings, as they can be more challenging to recycle.
